Hilt Tatum IV, an Oxford University alumnus, is the current chairman of the Oxford Consulting Group. Hilt Tatum IV has been the president of iPoint Capital Partners, a private equity firm he formed in Panama City, for the past 15 years. He is also the CEO of Impact Housing Corporations, an organization dedicated to providing affordable housing in Panama.
Impact Housing Corporation is a real estate development firm in Panama with the primary goal of constructing approximately 5,000 homes across three neighborhoods. Impact Housing Corporation's construction method, which has played a critical role in increasing product quality and which they expect to revolutionize home building in the Central America region, is one of its most distinguishing features. Constructors commonly use masonry blocks to build houses in Panama. A method that, asides from being time-consuming, has a relatively large margin of error when it comes to squaring corners, window openings, and uneven floor finishes. Recognizing the difficulties this traditional method poses, the company uses two prefabricated aluminum molds to produce a pure concrete casting with the exact housing dimensions. These custom-built systems take less time to assemble, pump with concrete, and smoothen. It also allows the project to be thoroughly homogenized, with all accessories and finishes fitting perfectly square, ensuring a high-quality product for all end users.
